Sixth Circuit Court Rules in Favor of Claimants in Perry v. St. Joseph County

On August 24, 2026, the Sixth Circuit Federal Appeals Court issued an Opinion in Perry v St. Joseph County. A three-judge panel found that the Wayside class action paused the legal time limit for people to claim surplus proceeds from their property tax foreclosure. The Perry decision supports our clients' position that their claims were filed on time.
